In this role, you'll take responsibility for individual components of our software by implementing Backend-API’s and microservices in state-of-the-art technologies. You'll work closely with frontend and fullstack developers, supporting the team with architectural questions. What we're looking for
- Experience in the implementation of Java backends and microservices
- Very good knowledge of the Java programming language (Spring framework/SpringBoot)
- Advanced knowledge in dealing with REST-APIs
- Experience with Message Broker (e.g. RabbitMQ) desired
- Experience with Authentication Provider (e.g. Keycloak) desired
- Experience with SQL and (desirable) NoSQL databases
- Good German and English skills and the ability to communicate well with remote teams
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Your Tasks
- Development of productive web services and packages in a microservice architecture
- Integration of our machine learning-based components into the application in close collaboration with our data science team
- Optimization and extension our existing codebase
- Support with simple tasks in the DevOps area
- Customization and enhancement of REST APIs together with our fullstack developers
- Support with the integration of our services into third-party applications
