What we're looking for
- Experience in the administration of self-managed server infrastructure as well as cloud environments
- Knowledge of Container orchestrators like Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
- Experience in working with Docker and Docker-Compose in production environments
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of using build tools such as npm, pip, gradle and maven
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Good German or English skills and the ability to communicate well with remote teams
- Experience with LXC containers is a plus
Your Tasks
- Maintenance of our self-managed Linux servers
- Setup of databases, especially MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB
- Ensure a smooth process when deploying to test and production environments
- Implement security, backup, logging and monitoring solutions
- Support our developer team by fielding questions about CI topics and development-related best practices
- Maintain and develop our CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
